.... Ngozi Ubanka had just completed her mandatory National Youth service at Katsina state in the Northern part of Nigeria and returned home to Delta state, southern Nigeria where she resides with her family...
She knocks on the door
Ngozi: Knock !knock! Tapping on the door with her hands.. Any body home? As she waited patiently for a reply.
Mr Smith Ubanka: Who is it?
Ngozi: It's me Papa, Ngozi...
Mr Smith Ubanka opens the door
Mr Smith Ubanka: Eeeh! Ngozi'm as she is fondly called. Welcome dear, how was service? Chai! Ngo you have lost weight oh and you are dark like Ndi Hausa. Ngwanu go and refresh and rest.
Ngozi: Ah! Papa what of Mama,I have not seen her since I arrived..
Mr Smith Ubanka: Oh! She went to the market to get akwu and other things for the house.(akwu means Banga in Igbo)
Ngozi: Oh I see she replied.
she goes into the room to drop her luggage and dashed into the bathroom to have her bath.The bathroom was situated inside the house gracious furnished with white tiles. While bathing she heard a knock on the door,it was her mother Theresa Ubanka who just returned from the market.
Mrs Theresa Ubanka: Eweeh! Chineke ! This weather is just too hot..She knocks on the door..
Mr Ubanka opens the door smiling
Mr Smith Ubanka: Welcome back my dear..
Mrs Theresa Ubanka: Papa Ngozi why are you smiling..hmmm. this your smile dikwa very risky oh
Ngozi heads for the sitting room
Ngozi: Mama! Mama! I am home,she cried as ran into her mother's arms...
Mrs Theresa Ubanka: Ewoo! Nwam oh!
she lifts up her eyes to heaven and says chukwudalu...( which means God thank you ) So this is you Iam seeing without paying Kobo?
Ngozi: Hahahaha Mama you ehn. Which Kobo again..
Mr Smith Ubanka: Don't mind your mother Ngozi,she never ceases to amaze me
Mrs Theresa Ubanka: I missed you my daughter. Thank God you are back. Food is almost already.
Ngozi: Ok Mama

Ngozi: Mama this meal is delicious. It's good to be home.
Mr Smith Ubanka: What do you expect? That's your mother for you.
Ngozi: Hahahaha Papa you have not changed
After settling down to a delicious meal,she thanked her parents,thereafter they prayed and went to bed
