Yaay! Limbs Day!
Yaaay! Iam back.
It's campaign time yipee♥♥♥ππππ
Top of the morning to you all and happy new week. I hope you had a beautiful weekend? I missed your company♥. Thank you all for staying glued to my blog. Last week, I shared with us an interview I had with Chioma Ozioma,a proud mother of an amputee and we heard it straight from the horses mouth, it was an amazing journey from start to finish.
So in a bid to further my goals in supporting women I have joined Ozioma and others facing a similar challenge ♥ ♥♥in extending a helping hand to child amputees. Iam certain there are other child amputees too across the globe and also in kicking vehemently against stigmatization of amputees.Majority of these children are stigmatized even in schools.
Children ought to be loved and valued,I still see few adults who have been amputated too. The agony of seeing a child amputated terrifies me. In Michael's case,as he grows older the prosthetic limbs has to be changed.. If you have a child who has a similar challenge don't vent your anger on that child, don't keep it to yourself, speak up and be heard.
"I am going out on a limb" is powered by IREDE foundation and the good news is Ozioma will be speaking there too yaay!
There are parents who have similar challenges and cannot afford prosthetic limbs for their children too. I enjoin you to come, come with your child... Don't cower back in shame or unbelief. The event is slated for 8th April 2017 at YMCA Building Awolowo road Ikoyi..
Thanks to IREDE foundation for putting all these together. We are grateful!
